Cadastro Ambiental Rural é entregue a produtores familiares em Paragominas 63p4w
Produtores rurais familiares de 15 colônias da região de Paragominas irão se reunir no dia 1º de junho para participar do Seminário “Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR) de Pequenos Imóveis Rurais de Paragominas”. Na ocasião, irão receber os comprovantes do Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR), que permite a adequação ambiental das propriedades. Este é mais um resultado do projeto municipal “Paragominas Município Verde”, que contou com a atuação conjunta da Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura de Paragominas (Semagri), da Emater/PA e do Instituto do Homem e Meio Ambiente da Amazônia (Imazon).
O seminário será conduzido pelo Instituto, um dos parceiros do Projeto Paragominas Município Verde, conduzido pela Prefeitura Municipal e pelos setores produtivos locais, em parceria também com o Sindicato dos Produtores Rurais, Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente, TNC, Emater e Fundo Vale. O evento ocorre das 9 às 12 horas, no auditório da Prefeitura Municipal.
Sobre o Projeto Paragominas Município Verde
O projeto nasceu em 2008, logo após Paragominas ser inserido na lista dos municípios que mais desmataram a Amazônia, lista divulgada anualmente pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente. O objetivo foi criar bases para a adequação ambiental de Paragominas, visando sua exclusão da referida lista, o que aconteceu em março de 2010, e o aprimoramento do uso do solo e dos recursos florestais rumo à produção sustentável.
