Imazon realizou mais um ciclo de capacitação para técnicos das Secretarias Municipais de Meio Ambiente dos municípios do Amazonas, Rondônia e Mato Grosso 6s1z39
16 técnicos participaram da oficina e treinamento promovidos pelo do Projeto de Fortalecimento da Gestão Ambiental na Amazônia, em Rondônia
Nos dias 23 e 24 de abril, o Imazon realizou a oficina Avaliação dos Marcos Regulatórios Ambientais Municipais e o treinamento em em Geotecnologia Avançada para Gestão Ambiental com ênfase no Quantum Gis, em Porto Velho, no Estado de Rondônia. As atividades fazem parte do Projeto “Fortalecimento da Gestão Ambiental na Amazônia” que é apoiado pelo Fundo Amazônia.
Durante os eventos participaram 16 técnicos das Secretarias Municipais de Meio Ambiente dos municípios de Machadinho d’Oeste, Nova Mamoré e Porto Velho, do estado de Rondônia; Boca do Acre e Lábrea, do estado do Amazonas e Juína do Mato Grosso.
O objetivo da oficina é aprimorar e compartilhar os conhecimentos sobre a implementação da gestão ambiental municipal e apresentar informações sobre avaliação dos marcos regulatórios ambientais em relação aos requisitos solicitados na Lei Complementar Nº 140/2011 e as resoluções estaduais sobre a descentralização da gestão ambiental. Já do treinamento, é aprimorar os conhecimentos dos técnicos da Secretarias no uso de geotecnologias aplicáveis à gestão ambiental, com foco na utilização do software livre Quantum GIS (QGIS) para sensoriamento remoto e mapeamento da cobertura do solo.
Adirleide Dias dos Santos, Diretora do Departamento de Gestão Ambiental e Mudanças Climáticas da Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente de Porto Velho, parabenizou a iniciativa e destacou a relevância dos eventos que capacitaram quatro técnicos da sua secretaria. “A importância do curso para a gestão ambiental é levar e registrar informações da gestão que possibilitem fazer um mapeamento e um planejamento a médio e longo prazo, e nos dar uma ferramenta que ajuda a fazer esse monitoramento é fundamental para fortalecer a logística ambiental e sobretudo criar políticas públicas mais eficiente. Por isso, nós estamos aqui participando desse treinamento de grande valia, e estamos gostando muito. Tenho certeza que é importante trazer cada vez mais capacitações que possam melhorar a atuação dos técnicos e gestores ambientais”, completou.
